Carol LeBlanc's Biography

Carol LeBlanc was trained and certified as a Climate Reality Leader with 1,500 others from around the world during the Climate Reality Project’s 2013 Chicago training conference.

Carol is an Information Technology Project Manager who provides leadership and management to projects for the U.S. government. She has received several commendations for her work accomplishments from multiple government agencies. A graduate of Syracuse University's College of Visual & Performing Arts, Carol holds the Project Management Institute's Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certifications.

Her passion for solving climate change sprouted in the 1980’s while reading about the relationship between global warming and man-made greenhouse gasses, and grew stronger as the world began experiencing the impacts of climate change in the new millennium. When she saw her former Colorado Springs neighborhood go up in flames in 2012, it was becoming clear that climate change was not an abstract, scientific theory playing out in the distant future but a very real and immediate threat to our existence.
